Such a long week and it's only Tuesday!
Argh! So I am full of stories today. I should have really typed them on the weekend or even yesterday but the weeks just seem to mesh into one lately. I wake up on Monday thinking its Friday. I try to sleep in on days that I need to be up. Call me crazy but the only way to break this madness is to get a job. It would add something new and maybe just maybe stop the days from meshing into one epic...
Remember me? It's been a while...
Hello my lovelies!!
It has been such a long time since I last had any stories to tell you. I did try to blog a little while ago but it ended in a battle between the computer and my patience - the computer won!
So first I just want to tell you all something exciting, MyKit has grown. It now takes up half of my handbag. If you have seen my hand bag then you would know how impressive this is. I...

Old mother goose...
I have had a few reasons to use my kit over the last week or so, but have been both too busy and to lazy to post about it :). Therefore today’s post will be considered epic!
Last weekend my sister and I had to take my brother to soccer. Not just take him and drop him off but actually sit around and watch him play, not just one but TWO matches. If you actually bother to figure out how long...
Dumb Dumb Dee Dumb
Yer so i did something dumb today. Silly me headed off to a training program today (to be part of orientation) with out even thinking of taking a book or pencil case or even simply a pen - Well at least that would have been the case if I hadn’t had my EMERGENCY KIT!!! I am so out of practise for this uni thing, having had way to long on holidays.
My preparation skills will come in handy in...

Surviving Sydney
My kit and I took our most adventurous trip over the weekend to Sydney. For me it was quite exciting as I had not been on a plane in 12 years (yes people I was 8 last time). Being miss organised and prepared I googled what I can and can’t take on a plane. Unfortunately flight restrictions meant that various items out of my kit had to stay home. My kit now minus the sewing kit, nail...
All hot and blistered...
So I have my first story :). It’s nothing man vs wild worthy but I did promise you mundane with occasional flashes of entertaining. Today’s story is definetly column a.
Silly me went to my last shift at Kmart with her hair down and new shoes on. New shoes and running the stairs meant my poor little toes got all blistered. Emergency kit comes to the rescue with 1 x bandaid :).
My hair...
The Beginning ...a very good place to start
So I have always had this little “essentials” kit I have carried with me. It contained all the important things like band aids, panadol, girly products and of course lip gloss. As a self proclaimed clutz these items got me through high school. Gradually I have added to my kit over the last few years, so that it until recently also included hair ties, fork and spoon, coinage and breath...
